About this product
The Mitsu Rib Belt is a wide elasticated binder that wraps the lower chest and applies adjustable compression across the rib cage. The full-overlap hook-and-loop closure means it fits any circumference within its range and - more usefully - that tension can be changed through the day without taking the belt off.
The inner face is lined with soft plush across its whole area. On a belt worn against the ribs, often over bare skin, that lining is the difference between something worn all day and something taken off by lunchtime.
Important. rib pain after an injury needs a medical assessment before any binder is used. A rib belt must never be fastened so tightly that it prevents you taking a full, deep breath - restricted breathing after a rib injury carries its own risks.
